About Ingrid

I was born and raised in Zimbabwe in Africa. As a child I grew up on a farm and have been working with animals my whole life. I worked in commerce for a while and then as a high school teacher.

My parents were keen horse riders and in my early years they were very active in show jumping. In later years they bred thoroughbreds for the race track.
I have also been involved in various dog shows in the toy-dog class with Pekinese as well as in the working class with Border Collies.

I am a qualified Artificial Inseminator for cattle, and am very familiar with
the many activities in breeding stations.

I had my own thoroughbred mare and foal which led me to the "Equine Touch". I am trained by Jock Ruddock who travels worldwide.

Currently I live in Courtenay on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada with my husband, Paul as well as Sherlock, Smokey and Bandit. I love Gentle Touch and Equine Touch and take great pride in making a difference in the world.
